House Rules & 🐾 Pet Policy

Welcome to Caroga Creekside Living! To ensure a wonderful stay for you and a respectful environment for our neighbors, please review our rules below.

🕒 Check-in & Check-out

• Check-in: After 3:00 PM
• Check-out: By 11:00 AM

🤫 Quiet Hours

• 9:00 PM – 8:00 AM: Please keep noise to a minimum. We love our neighbors and want to remain a welcome part of the community.

🚭 Smoking & Vaping

• This is a 100% smoke-free and vape-free property. Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors and near open windows/doors.

🐾 Detailed Pet Policy

By booking, you agree to the following terms regarding your pet’s stay.

1. Booking, Fees & Capacity

• One Pet Only: Maximum of one (1) pet per stay.
• Size Limit: All pets must weigh under 50 lbs.
• Upfront Payment: The pet fee must be paid at the time of booking.
• Unauthorized Pets: Our exterior security cameras monitor guest arrival. Bringing an undisclosed pet is a violation of house rules and will result in an immediate $500 penalty fee, plus potential cancellation of your stay without a refund.

2. Health, Vaccinations & Tick Disclosure

• Mandatory Vaccines: All pets must be up-to-date on Rabies and Core Vaccinations. Digital or physical proof must be available upon request.
• Parasite Prevention: Pets must be current on flea and tick prevention.

3. Species-Specific Requirements

• No Scratching: Pets are strictly prohibited from scratching furniture, rugs, or door frames. For cats, you must provide a scratching post or ensure claws are trimmed/capped. Scratching damage is not considered normal wear and tear.
• Cats: You must provide a litter box. Ensure no litter is tracked onto carpets; all waste must be bagged and disposed of outside.
• Small Animals: Birds, rabbits, or other small pets must remain in a secure cage or enclosure when not being actively handled.
• Dogs: Must be house-trained. No "potty pads" are allowed inside the home.

4. Indoor Etiquette & Supplies

• Strict "No Paws" Rule: Pets are prohibited from all furniture, including beds, sofas, and rugs.
• Unattended Pets: Pets may only be left alone if they are secured in a crate. If a pet barks persistently or causes a disturbance, they cannot be left alone.
• Guest Supplies: Please bring all supplies (bowls, bedding, crates, waste bags). Do not use house linens or kitchenware for pet care.

5. Outdoors & Cleanliness

• Leash Policy: Pets must be on a leash at all times when outside the home.
• Waste Disposal: Pick up all waste immediately, bag it, and dispose of it in the dumpster provided.

6. Damages & Liability

• Guests are 100% liable for any damage (scratches, stains, odors) or extra cleaning required.
• Damage will be documented via photos and reported to the Airbnb Resolution Center for reimbursement, or you will be directly billed.

✨ General Care

• No parties or large gatherings.
• Please report any damages immediately so we can fix them for the next guest.
• Ensure all windows and doors are locked when leaving the property.
• Sheets are to be pulled from all used beds and placed in front of the washing machine before check-out.
• Garbage is to be collected and taken to the dumpster provided before check-out.

📅 Cancellation Policy

• 30+ Days Notice: Full refund.
• 14-30 Days Notice: 50% refund.
• Less than 14 Days: No refund.
